23's take slender advantage in semi final

By Gary Brigden

A Mason Seagroatt strike early in the second half was enough to give the 23's the semi final advantage going into the 2nd leg

After a cagey first half, Seagroatt struck three minutes into the second half, after good work by Marlon Pinder had created space for Dan Stone, who found Seagroatt.

There were no further goals, and we now go into the semi leg with a 1-0 lead.

In league action, Cobham beat Walton & Hersham 1-0, to set up a title decider with ourselves (we have 21 points, they have 20), again at a date to be confirmed.

With a county cup semi-final also to be scheduled, there are exciting times ahead for the young Rovers.

Where next?

A point at Balham The first team needed a late goal from Ollie Twum to salvage a point against Balham tonight.
Mixed results for Sunday seniors Heartbreak in the county cup for SCR Sunday, but the A's keep their promotion hopes alive.
