Baker goal gives reserves a point

By Gary Brigden

A solitary strike by the in-form George Baker gave the reserves a 1-1 draw with Worcester Park

The result means that with two games left we sit five points behind Farleigh Rovers, and for us to win the league it will need them to lose their last game away at Frimley Green.

A point would mean we could catch them if we win our last two games, we would need to overturn a 34 goal advantage that they have, which would be "unlikely".

In today's other fixtures, Farleigh drew with Ripley Village, Frimley thumped Royal Holloway, and Ash Utd beat Staines in the Spring League.

The big news was Horsley's 1-0 win over Merrow in the Challenge Cup semi final, which puts them through to play ourselves in the final.
