The U23's picked up the Development Division title tonight with a hard fought 1-0 win over Cobham

Both sides went into the game knowing a win would give them the title, and it was a slightly tense affair with little goalmouth action.

However, there was plenty of good football on show from both sides. Cobham have an excellent young side, and move the ball quickly, our lads are similar, so despite the lack of goalmouth action it was an enjoyable game.

The decisive moment came in the 89th minute, when a deep hanging cross from substitute Ryan Steadman-Hoyte was headed home at the back post by substitute (although he had been on for 80 minutes) Sam Blake, to give us a 1-0 win and the title.

Just rewards for Tyler, Jason and the boys efforts this season, and huge credit to the lads who suffered triple heartache last year, with three runners up positions, who stuck at it and showed resilience to bounce back this year.
