Cup final preview: U21's v AFC Croydon Athletic

8 months ago By Gary Brigden

The 21's take part in their second cup final tomorrow night (8 May) when they take on AFC Croydon Athletic in the Development Division cup.

The two sides have already met twice in the league this season, with a last game of the season double header still to go, and there have been two very tight games.

In September we played our first league game, with goals from George Baker and Alfie Carney helping us to a 2-2 draw, and we followed that up with a 2-1 a fortnight later, thanks to goals from Adaini Carrera and Casey McCabe.

The two sides are very evenly matched, so this should be a cracking encounter.

After this we still have Bagshot (twice), Chessington & Hook Utd (once) and double headers against CB Hounslow Utd, and on the 23rd May AFC Croydon Athletic, and then finally the lads can rest, until pre-season starts in June!
