First team coaching changes

By Gary Brigden

New roles for Adam Deadman, Francois Gabbidon and Craig Nelson, whilst Dave Hill departs

Darren Salmon is delighted to announce that former goalkeeper coach Adam Deadman has returned to the club and will be taking on the Assistant Manager role working alongside Darren and Donny Rennalls.

Adam has a wealth of experience in the non league game and a good track record of developing younger players. His last role saw him as Assistant Manager at Farleigh Rovers.

In other structural changes, the hugely popular Francois Gabbidon will be taking on a new Club development role as PDC Manager.
Alongside his 1st team commitments Frenchy will be spending more time liaising with Tyler and Mark, as well as mentoring Colts development as we look to galvanise our player pathway and bring our younger starlets on.

Finally midfield maestro Craig Nelson will be moving into a Player Coach role. Pitts was a key member of the squad last season and his injury that ruled him out of April had a huge bearing on our final position. Craig is another fully focussed on developing younger players and what better way to do that than by playing alongside them.

On the flip side the very popular Dave Hill who worked with the keepers for much of last season, has decided to move on.

Dave was great with the lads and a very positive influence in the changing room and will be much missed.
