First's have six appeal

2 months ago By Gary Brigden

The first team went goal crazy in their second round FA Vase clash with Horley Town.

Trailing after three minutes to a stunning Ayden Richards strike, they levelled things up midway through the half when Marlon Pinder beat three players before crashing a strike beyond George Hyde, for his first goal for the club. Guy Baskerville latched onto a Neset Belikli corner just before the break to head home for 2-1.

An early second half Ollie Twum strike made it 3-1 and when Jeff Addo-Dankwa headed home minutes later it was game over.

Further goals from Matt Tanton, his first for the club, and Phil Page before the hour sealed the deal.

Full report to follow.

Elsewhere, Southall, Chertsey Town and Abbey Rangers all progressed on Saturday in the Vase.
