Admittedly the lads were not at their best, and the hosts had the better of the first half, but Page's effort on 10 minutes, and Pinder's just after the half hour settled the nerves.
An early second half strike by Page, his 100th for the club, stopped any initial Knaphill comeback, and when Pinder scored just shy of the hour to make it 4-0 it looked a case of how many.
Credit to the hosts though for their response, it's clear the new management team have them going in the right direction, and two goals in a minute bought them back to 4-2. Both effort from Josh Barry and Martin Smith being superbly struck goals.
We allayed any fears though on 82 minutes when debutant Mike Hill picked out Cooper-Smith in the area and he fired home for 5-2.
