Semi-final tonight

By Gary Brigden

The first team head off to Bedfont & Feltham in the Premier Challenge Cup this evening.

Last season we reached this stage, before exiting the competition at the hands of a high-flying Division 1 side - and the draw this year takes us again to the home of a high flying Division 1 side.

Bedfont & Feltham currently sit in third spot in the table, but are nine points behind second placed Frimley Green with just three games left, and a recent mixed run of form has seen them drop out of the title hunt (in many way mirroring our own form over the last month or so).

They are though more than capable of beating any side if they click, as their 3-0 win away at Premier Division, and current holders Knaphill proved.

We will have to be at our very best if we are to progress tonight, and avoid the heartache of last season.

Darren Salmon and Donny Rennalls have a strong squad available, although they are missing the injured Matt Ferdinando and Marlon Pinder, Adam Allen has stepped away from the game, whilst both Luke Fenlon and Kery Kedze are cup tied.

There are call ups to the squad for three of our title winning development side, all of whom have had some first team experience this season, in the shape of Jevontae Hylton, Felipe Melgaco and Ben Senior.
