For our second pre-season fixture the lads take on Southern Combination Division 1 side Arundel.

This will be our second fixture against Arundel, as Simon Hull bought his lads up to take us on at Hannibal Way last season. Difficult conditions and the long grass meant it was a tough game, but we managed to secure a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Adaini Carrera and Daryl Cooper-Smith.

The fortunes of the two sides were vastly different last season, whilst we went on to finish runners up behind Chertsey, Arundel found themselves relegated to the Southern Combination Division 1, having finished in 19th spot - agonisingly behind 18th placed Eastbourne Utd by just three goals, both sides finishing on 27 points. A last day defeat left Arundel hoping for Eastbourne Utd dropping points, but a goal five minutes from time secured Eastbourne's survival with a 3-2 win and sent the Mullets down.

Arundel did though turn in a stunning performance in the FA Cup, when thumping our champions and FA Vase winners Chertsey Town 4-1.

It should be a decent game, and a good chance to get important minutes under our belts.

It's a 3pm kick off at Sutton Utd.

Don't forget there is still time to pick up your early bird season ticket - at just £55 for an Adult; £30 for a Concession or £10 for a teenager.
