Tyler Chambers and his unbeaten SCR Sunday side host fellow Division Two side Malden Vale in the Quarter Final of the Intermediate Challenge Cup. This will be the first meeting this season between the two sides, but last year we slipped to a 2-1 defeat away at Malden Vale on the opening day of the season (our goal from Sean David), before we were awarded the reverse fixture at the start of May.
Vale currently sit in 7th spot in the table, with nine points from eight games.
Also in action in the quarter final are another couple of Division Two sides in Royal Admiral and Poplar Rovers.
The four sides are battling it out to join another Division Two side Hersham Royals and Division Three Wandgas Sports Reserves in the semi-final.
For Justin and his SCR Sunday A boys, there is a first round Junior Charity Cup tie this weekend, and they head off to fellow Division Five side AFC Cannons.
Although Cannons are in our division we have yet to meet them in a league match this year. They currently sit in 11th spot in the table with two points from ten games.
There are a lot of other Division Five sides involved in cup action this weekend, with just one league game, that being Erskine Rovers hosting league leaders AFC Ewell.
