The U18’s saw their title hopes take a huge dip on Monday night, when they turned in possibly their worst performance of the season when they slumped to a 5-0 defeat away at Chatham Town.

The hosts led on 20 minutes through Calum Scovell and increased their lead fifteen minutes before the break through Logan Thomson.

We had a couple of efforts disallowed for fouls and a decent penalty shout turned down, but never really looked like getting back into the game, and Chatham ran away with things in the last ten minutes.

Thomson notched his second, with other strikes from Michael Paton and George Moore.

Cray Valley are now just a point behind us with two games in hand, with Maidstone ten points back in 6th spot but with three games in hand.

Our remaining games are the return fixture with Chatham, then a home game with Cray Valley and a trip to Maidstone.
