Last week the 23’s were back in action and returned to winning ways courtesy of a second half Ibrahim Sangare goal away at CB Hounslow & Abbots.
We spoke to manager Michael Talabi after the game, he said:
“In a tough and hard-fought 1-0 win, the team showed grit and resilience. The first half presented some challenges, especially with the 3-5-2 formation that made it difficult for us to break them down effectively. We struggled to find rhythm and openings, but a few tactical adjustments and personnel changes at half-time helped turn things around.
In the second half, we defended well and controlled the game, maintaining composure under pressure. The adjustments allowed us to press higher and manage the tempo, ultimately securing the win. It wasn’t an easy match, but winning ugly shows the team’s determination. A strong second half, and we’ll build on this going forward.”
