Despite taking an early lead against South Park Reigate in last night’s semi-final, the 18’s were ultimately denied a place in the final, losing in a penalty shoot out.
We started brightly and took the lead early on through George Vincent, but the lead did not last long and South Park came roaring back to level things up.
In an excellent game between two very good sides their were chances at either end, but no further scoring and the sides went to penalties.
We looked to have the initiative, going first – scoring and seeing South Park Reigate miss their first kick. Unfortunately we couldn’t convert penalties four or five, and South Park were accurate with their kicks, sending them into the final, against Kingstonian.
Brave effort by the lads, but an excellent season and an enjoyable game.
