The draws for this seasons FA Cup / FA Trophy and FA Youth Cup were made recently, and the lads have been handed some tough ties in all competitions.

In the FA CUP, we have been drawn at home to Isthmian South East side Burgess Hill Town in the Extra Preliminary Round. The Hillians finished a position outside the relegation play off places last season, and will no doubt be tough opponents. The tie will be played on August 5th.

At stake for the winners is a home Preliminary Round tie against either Southern Combination Premier side Hassocks or Southern Counties East Premier Division side Erith Town.

In the FA TROPHY, in what can hardly be described as a shock, we have been drawn away to Isthmian South East side Merstham. We are no strangers to the Moatsiders having played them twice last season in the Isthmian South division, picking up a 2-0 win at home (Torpey & Cox) and a 3-0 loss away from home. The tie will be played on the 9th September.

The winners head off to Thame Utd and Badshot Lea, meaning even if we are successful our wait for a home draw continues.

Finally, in the FA YOUTH CUP, the lads have been drawn away to Southern Counties East side Punjab Utd in the Extra-Preliminary Round with the tie to be played week commencing 14th August. The winners away to Phoenix Sports in the Preliminary Round.
