Three things in life are certain, death, taxes and stoppage time goals in games against Guernsey, and Bank Holiday Monday was no exception.

The Green Lions started the brighter but there was little to trouble either keeper until the programmes “one to watch” Sam Murray planted a header beyond Roshan Greensall to give the visitors the lead, and it was one they held until half time.

Rovers struck back midway through the half, Josh Addison saved Adam Aziz’s effort but Noah Africa was on hand to level things up. Shortly after Rovers took the lead when Aziz converted from the spot.

As the game entered stoppage time a mistimed challenge gave Matt Loaring the chance to level from the spot and he duly obliged to earn the visitors a point.
