The League allocations for the 2023/24 season have now been released by the FA, and we welcome six new teams into the Isthmian South Central.
There was some conjecture on social media and various websites that we might be moved into the Isthmian South East division but this did not happen and we remain in the South Central.
Coming into the league we will be Ascot Utd, Badshot Lea, Corinthian Casuals, Hartley Wintney, Met Police and Raynes Park Vale. It will fantastic to renew league acquaintances with Badshot Lea, Hartley Wintney and Raynes Park Vale, whilst we have played both Ascot Utd and Corinthian Casuals in friendlies and have one FA Cup fixture with Met Police from back in the day.
Departing the league are Basingstoke Town, Walton & Hersham (both to the Southern League Premier South Division), Merstham (Isthmian South East), Marlow (Southern League Central), Bedfont Sports (Combined Counties North) and Tooting & Mitcham Utd (Combined Counties South).
Whilst the promotion and relegation places were fairly obvious, the surprising moves see Marlow moved out and Met Police coming in.
Full division:
FYI: Green (promoted); Red (relegated); Blue (voluntary relegation).
No doubt their will be a few appeals, so there could be the odd change here and there.
