MATCHDAY PREVIEW: HOME V JERSEY BULLS

It’s a huge encounter this weekend for the first team as they host an impressive Jersey Bulls side in the Second Qualifying Round of this seasons FA Cup.

For both sides the enoucnter is a journey into the unknown as neither side has reached this stage before (The Bulls are in their first season in the FA Cup and for us there have been a couple of First Qualifying Round exits).

Jersey have seen off Horsham YMCA (10-1), Newhaven (4-0) and VCD Athletic (5-1) to reach this stage, and boast an outstanding record of just one loss (Beckenham Town 1-0 this season) and one draw (Redhill 0-0) in their competitive history.

We have reached this stage thanks to a replay win over Steyning Town (4-0 after a 0-0 draw) and Cray Wanderers (3-1).

The game is kicking off at 12:30, thanks to being featured on the BBC Red Button, iPlayer, the BBC website and App.

Darren Salmon has a strong squad available with Jake Hill back in contention after injury, and Mackenzie Foley in for the first time. Ollie Twum and Jay Dunstan-Digweed are still recovering from injuries and do not make the squad, and obviously Michael Eacott has moved on.
