The first team picked up a hard fought point against Badshot Lea in a game that saw both sides reduced to ten men late on.

Badshot get off the mark quickly as a run down the wing sets up Ceesay for a 1 on 1 and calmly slots it home to put the visitors ahead.

Rovers were all at sea in the opening exchanges and can feel somewhat fortunate to only be trailing by a solitary goal at the half time interval.

Into the second half and Rovers levelled things up. A long throw by Ben Holden, was helped on by Bertie Lloyd and after a few bounces off some players Aaron Jenkins gets the final touch for it to hit the back of the net.

It was all SCR in the second half and we went close to taking the lead when another deep throw was again flicked on by Lloyd but fired just over by Nabeel Ghannam.

Rovers were reduced to ten men on 88 minutes when Tariq Straker pulled down Dwayne Clarke after a rapid Badshot break. Shortly after it was 10 v 10 after Isy Nzelo fouled Badshot goalscorer Ceesay, and the Badshot players reaction led to him seeing red.
