Rovers recent good run of form came to a crashing halt when they were well beaten by play-off chasing Binfield at Whyteleafe Sports Centre.

Connor Holland opened the scoring for the visitors 18 minutes into the game, capitalising on some defensive lapses by Rovers to fire expertly beyond James Dillon.

Rovers were struggling to get the fluidity that had been a part of their recent revival, and it was only thanks to a stunning James Dillon save that they went into the break just a goal adrift.

Two goals just before the hour mark, by Conor Lynch and Brad Pagliaroli took the game away from them, and coupled with a stoppage time equaliser for Merstham, Rovers dropped into the bottom two.
