As many will have seen on Twitter, there has been a fair turnover of players over the course of the close season, and we are delighted to confirm that the following players have signed on for the 2024/25 season.
ADAM AZIZ was a big part of Knaphill’s success in the Combined Counties Premier last season, playing forty four times and scored eleven goals.
He scored eighteen goals in twenty seven games for South Park Reigate during the 21-22 season, then moved to Haywards Heath Town, where he made only a brief stop as his season was brought to a premature end after he suffered a serious injury.
BEN JORDAN makes the move from Merstham, who he joined just before Christmas and played for six times. Ben was previously with South Park Reigate, making fifteen appearances for the Sparks last season, scoring three goals- and that followed twenty nine appearances and five goals during 22-23, and twenty six with one goal during 21-22.
Midfielder AARON LAMONT was also at Merstham last season, making eleven appearances after departing Pitching In Isthmian South Central promotion chasers Raynes Park Vale.
We would like to give a warm welcome to all the new lads.
On the flip side, moving on from the club are Antonio Simeone (48 apps, 4 goals), Daryl Coleman (20 apps, 0 goals), Isy Nzelo (26 apps, 2 goals) and Ash Sheppard (33 apps, 2 goals) who have all moved to Tooting & Mitcham Utd; Aaron Jenkins (44 apps, 13 goals) who has gone to Merstham and Charlie Martin (27 apps, 7 goals) who has moved to Loxwood.
Further updates will be made on new recruits and any others who have moved on, over the next few weeks.
