TANNERS PICK UP WIN OVER THE FIRSTS

Despite a battling peformance the first team slipped to a narrow 1-0 defeat against promotion chasing Leatherhead on Tuesday night.

With Sam Morgan away in the US, it was assistant Reece Turner who took charge of the side.

Reece made a couple of changes from the side that had drawn at Westfield, with Daryl Coleman, Bert Lloyd and Lindell Stewart coming into the starting line up and Oscar Williams, Mal Thomas and Noah Africa dropping to the bench.

Both sides had chances in the first half, but the sides went in level at the break.

The only goal came ten minutes into the half, former SCR man Tyler whipped in a cross, the header looped against the bar, with Omarr Lawson firing the rebound home from close range, for the winning goal.
