An early Conan Torpey header, and a sweet strike from Nabeel Ghannam gave the lads a vital 2-0 win away at bottom placed Tooting & Mitcham Utd this afternoon.
Torpey struck with a flying header on 7 minutes, latching onto a Courtney Swaby free kick, and after Tooting had an effort chalked off for a foul on James Dillon just before the break, we took a 1-0 lead into the interval.
Tooting had the better of the opening exhanges of the second half, but after Ghannam fired in our second we saw the game out relatively comfortably.
